Nanyang Polytechnic and ERA present the first Co-Certificate in Digital Marketing for Real Estate, a timely avenue for upskilling amidst the continuous digital transformation that is reshaping the real estate landscape.

In this inaugural collaboration, a suite of four (4) SkillsFuture eligible courses will be offered: .

- Event Branding and Social Media Marketing (7-hours)

- Digital Video Production (14-hours)

- AI in Communications (7-hours)

- Sales Closing Techniques (7-hours)

  • Course Aim

    1. To upskill real estate salespersons and corporate team members in business management competencies including but not limited to digital marketing and client relationship management.
    2. To complement a continuing education environment in the real estate sector of Singapore for professional growth opportunities.
  • Course Outline

    Event Branding and Social Media Marketing (7-hours)

    Learn the skills and knowledge to develop an event branding campaign using social media platforms to maximise reach based on the five "C"s of social media strategy: Categorise, Converse, Contribute, Connect and Convert. Join us in this fun and interactive 1-day course which provides a realistic hands-on session to jumpstart your social media marketing journey for your event!

    Digital Video Production (14-hours)

    Videos are essential to the digital marketing effort and engagement of the social and digital media community. Participants will learn the essentials of producing short-form digital videos for social media and YouTube. Areas to cover include pre-production planning, basic camera work, and basic video editing using editing software.

    Sales Closing Techniques (7-hours)

    Many salespeople reach the end of their sales process and try to close their customers even before the customers are ready to buy. What differentiates an inexperienced salesperson from a successful one is in the ability to confirm a sale. Participants will be taught the critical methods in closing sales effectively.

    AI in Business Communications (7-hours)

    In this newly developed short course, discover how Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming business communication while growing your own future ready digital skills. Businesses and professionals can leverage AI to enhance their business communication interactions to create hyper-personalised experiences. AI can also be a game-changer for improving overall user experience and engagement when communicating with your colleagues or marketing to customers. AI technology can also help assess your own ability to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively for your job role.

    This course aims to equip learners with multiple ways to improve content creation using generative AI like ChatGPT for everyday office tasks e.g. emailing to more time-consuming business communication tasks like creating personalised content for digital marketing. It will provide businesses with tools to start using AI for a range of business communication demands from internal corporate communication, product sales management to digital marketing.

  • Target Participants

    This programme is designed for:

    - Existing Real Estate Salespersons (RES) or corporate staff of a property development agency, including those seeking career progression.

    - New entrants / mid-career switchers into the real estate industry who wishes to gain a better understanding in digital marketing, transformation and how to augment client experience.

    - Individuals considering a career in the real estate industry.

    - Members of the general public with an interest in the real estate industry.

  • Certification

    A Co-Certificate in Digital Marketing for Real Estate jointly awarded by Nanyang Polytechnic and ERA will be presented to all participants who have attained a minimum of 75% attendance and passed the assessment for all four (4) courses.

    For every single course fulfilled with a minimum attendance of 75% and a pass in the assessment, an e-Certificate of Completion will be awarded.

    Applicants with any of the following criteria are invited to apply for the course:

    - Existing Real Estate Salespersons (RES) or corporate staff of a property development agency, including those seeking career progression.

    - New entrants / mid-career switchers into the real estate industry who wishes to gain a better understanding in digital marketing, transformation and how to augment client experience.

    - Individuals considering a career in the real estate industry.

    - Members of the general public with an interest in the real estate industry.

    This programme will equip Real Estate Salespersons (RES) with essential digital marketing skills, utilisation of e-platforms and amplify their abilities to capitalise on opportunities and maintain a competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market.

    Designed in bite-sized modules, the courses bridge traditional practices and emerging digital trends allowing real estate practitioners to apply the acquired skills almost immediately in real life scenarios.

  • Programme structure

    To facilitate the working schedule of Real Estate Salespersons (RES), the training programme is broken down into 3.5-hour slots. Courses are conducted in an interactive workshop style.
